"If Rotary is to realize its proper destiny, it must be evolutionary at all times, and, on occassion, revolutionary. "
~ Paul Harris ~
This Tuesday will mark our final lunch gathering at the Salted Sprig — and what a run it has been. Week after week, Courtney and her wonderful staff welcomed us in and fed us incredibly well. To Courtney - and to Kellee and her team at The Haven prior to becoming the Salted Sprig - we are deeply grateful for your hospitality and for making every Tuesday something to look forward to. You truly have some of the best food in the valley, and we will miss you more than words can say.
THIS WEEK IN HISTORY
One hundred years ago - on May 1, 1926 the Ford Motor Company became one of the first American companies to adopt a 5-day, 40-hour work week.
Over the past few weeks we have invited the following people to join our club. Please don't hesitate to contact any member for the Board to share your thoughts and/or experiences with these folks. If you know them personally, consider reaching out to them and offer to answer any questions they may have about Rotary and our Club.
Megan Tanuous - St. Luke's Wood River Foundation Corporate Membership
Leslie Silva - Individual Member
Logan Fredrickson - evaluating Corporate vs. Individual Membership
Mason Fredrickson - evaluating Corporate vs. Individual Membership
The Ketchum - Sun Valley Rotary Club has implemented a new corporate membership plan. The highlights of the plan includes one dues-paying member, and allows for up to 3 other members of a business to share the Tuesday lunch meal plan. Please contact Alex Nevins, new members chair, at alex.nevins@dlevans.com.
What better way to introduce someone to Rotary - a free lunch. All active Rotary members are invited to bring a friend to lunch for free. Not only that, the sponsoring Rotarian receives a free Happy Buck!
Note, the free lunch is for first time visitors only. After that, the cost is $25, but the value is priceless.
